Cocooning your Newborn

Cocooning your Newborn

One of the greatest things you can do to help keep your newborn healthy is to make sure the people around them are healthy. We refer to this as cocooning your newborn. A great way to make sure other people are not transferring germs to your little one is through hand washing, making sure contacts do not have any contagious illnesses, and making sure close contacts are up to date on their vaccines. We recommend limiting their contacts to close family and friends. In general, we also recommend avoidance of unnecessary public settings until your newborn is older.
